Large card, both length and width, April 30, 2009
By David L.

Length: 10 9/16"
Height: 3 7/8"
Width: 1 3/8"
Measurements taken from the face of the rear plate, not the mounting lip. So if you have a midtower, and have hard drives in the lower front quadrant of your case, you may have trouble fitting this card. This is the problem I ran into, so I'm returning it. Thanks Amazon, for the awesome return policy!
Onto my impression of BFG. The "envelope" that Amazon shipped it in was a poor substitute for a cardboard box, so obviously the BFG package box was damaged. However, that is not BFG's fault. That's what I get for asking for free shipping in this economy. The card itself, though, looked like it had been opened before. The anti-static seal had been broken, and a second yellow seal placed on top of the first. Not to worry, BFG includes an instruction sheet that states that this had a post-package QC inspection, and that the second seal is placed by the inspector prior to shipping. Awesome!

Pros: Great card, plays everything you throw at it. I have 2 in SLI and the machine rates within 10% of the latest ATI cards. Paid only 220 at Best buy on special sale last year. The best part of this card is BFG. I have owned their cards (total of 7) since the 8800 series. Never had an issue until one of my 275s started giving me some problems a few days ago. Called BFG which pulled my registration and gave me an RMA within 5 minutes on the phone. I sent them my card last week. Guess What? Whithin 2 days of receiving it they are sending me a replacement! I just got the fedex notice-2 day delivery. Now that is service! They stand behind their lifetime warranty! Just make sure you register the card.
Cons: BFG should think of offering a program to adjust the fan settings to ramp up faster if you want. I do not like my cards getting too hot. Others have software for that. Other than that this is one great card.
